Gentle Explorers is a group that goes exploring. I added the word “gentle” to manage expectations – no mountain climbing, or scuba diving is involved.
We want to visit new places and if you would like to explore with us, this might be the group for you. We generally only visit places that are free or where you pay on arrival and no transport is provided. Often members car-share. We often manage to have a lunch or tea stop. We explore gardens, museums, towns and villages, old buildings and nature reserves – anywhere we want to visit. We often manage to arrange a guided tour.
Members often suggest places to visit, and the brave ones sometimes offer to organise a trip.
