“Course leaders Chris Turner and Ron Condon will be focusing on three plays - Macbeth, Measure for Measure and The Tempest - and exploring different ways in which the plays can be interpreted for a modern audience. The plays have been chosen to present challenges to our understanding of them in 2026. They also pose puzzles for us to tackle if we are to see their theatrical potential. We aim to spend more time on our feet, rather than sitting on chairs!"
